Are your perfumes Natural?

We use mix of natural and synthetic materials, to maximize the accuracy, longevity and safey of our perfumes.

Can a perfume smell differently from batch to batch?

Perfume is, like wine or any other art, not an exact science. While our formulas stay the same, different variables may affect the olfactory perception of a scent from one batch to another. One such factor might be the age of the batch. This is true for all perfume, whether mass produced or niche. With this being said; other external factors such as the changing seasons, your body temperature or what you had for breakfast affect your olfactory perception on a much larger scale.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary by destination — usually 3–7 business days for domestic orders and 7–14 business days for international.

How should I store my perfume?

Keep your perfume away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. A cool, dark place like a drawer or cabinet is ideal.

These terms govern the purchase of products through mutaborlab.com. By confirming an order, you accept them.

Seller

  • Name: Manilva Recursos S.L.
  • Tax ID (NIF): B54431960
  • Address: Calle de Arriba n2, 40529, Corral de Ayllón, Segovia, Spain
  • Email: info@mutaborlab.com

The activity consists of the creation and sale of perfume.

Prices and tax

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate.

Shipping is calculated separately and is always shown before you confirm the purchase. The amount displayed in the order summary is the amount charged.

For deliveries outside the EU you may be liable for import duties and customs charges in the destination country. These are not included in what you pay us.

How an order is placed

You add products to the cart, enter your delivery details and confirm payment.

The order is closed when the payment provider confirms the charge. From that moment you will receive an email with the confirmation and your order reference.

We may decline an order if the product is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot ship to your address. In that case we refund you in full.

Payment

Payment is made by card through Shopify Payments, which handles the transaction securely. Card details are not stored on this site.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping is handled by Correos. Current rates:

  • Spain: 5€
  • European Union: 15€
  • Rest of world: 30€

Shipping is charged once per order regardless of how many items it contains.

Each order is packed by hand, so preparation time may vary. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as it ships. In any case we deliver within 30 days of the order being confirmed.

Shipping restrictions by product type

Alcohol-based perfume is classified as a dangerous good for transport and is subject to carrier restrictions. Because of this:

  • Our alcohol-based perfumes ship only within THE EUROPEAN UNION.
  • Our oil-based perfumes ship to all destinations.

Each product page states which type it is. At checkout, only the products available for your delivery address can be purchased. If your basket contains an alcohol-based perfume and your delivery address is outside THE EUROPEAN UNION, you will need to remove it before completing the order.

About the products

Our perfumes are cosmetic products under Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. Full ingredient listings and allergen declarations appear on each product page and on the packaging, along with a batch code and a period-after-opening indication.

Fragrance perception is subjective and longevity varies between individuals. This is inherent to perfume and does not constitute a defect.

Guarantee

Products carry the legal guarantee of conformity: three years from delivery, with any lack of conformity appearing in the first two years presumed to have existed at delivery.

If you receive a damaged item, or one that does not correspond to what you bought, write to us and we will resolve it. Return shipping in these cases is at our cost.

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 calendar days from receiving your order to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason.

Perfume ships sealed. Once the seal is broken, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that item, under article 103(e) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, which excludes sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

Conditions and procedure are set out in the Return Policy.

Complaints

Write to info@mutaborlab.com. We aim to respond within 2 working days.

You may also address complaints to the consumer authorities of your place of residence.

Applicable law

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the mandatory protections of the law of your own country, and any dispute may be brought before the courts of your place of residence.

We may amend these terms, but amendments do not affect orders already placed.

Last updated: August 2026

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 calendar days to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason. The period runs from the day you receive the order — not from the day you bought it. If an order arrives in several parcels, it runs from the last one.

To withdraw, write to info@mutaborlab.com with your order reference. You may use the form at the end of this page, but it is not obligatory. Sending your message before the 14 days expire is enough to meet the deadline.

What can be returned

Perfume ships sealed. If the seal is intact and the item unused, it can be returned. Once the seal is broken or the product has been sprayed, the right of withdrawal no longer applies, under article 103(e) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 — sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Discovery sets follow the same rule: they can be returned while the vials remain sealed.

This does not affect faulty items — see below.

Sending it back

Send the item back within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing. You pay the cost of return shipping.

You are responsible for any loss of value caused by handling beyond what is needed to inspect the item.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, by the same payment method you used. We may hold the refund until the item arrives back or you send proof of dispatch, whichever comes first.

The refund includes our standard delivery cost. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery option, we refund only up to the standard rate.

Damaged or faulty items

If an item arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, write to info@mutaborlab.com with your order reference and photographs. Return shipping is at our cost, and the sealed-product rule above does not apply.

Products carry a three-year legal guarantee of conformity.

Withdrawal form

Complete this form and send it to info@mutaborlab.com only if you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

This page explains what personal data we collect through mutaborlab.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what rights you have over it. If anything here conflicts with our Terms of Service, this page controls in matters of personal data.

Who is responsible

  • Data controller: Manilva Recursos S.L.
  • NIF: B54431960
  • Registered address: Calle de Arriba n2, 40529, Corral de Ayllón, Segovia, Spain
  • Email: info@mutaborlab.com

We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Where Shopify processes data for its own purposes, it acts as controller for that processing, see "Our relationship with Shopify" below.

What we collect, why, and on what basis

When you place an order. Your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you provide one, and the details of your order and payment. We use this to process and deliver the order, issue the invoice, handle returns, and contact you about it. Basis: performance of the contract.

We never see or store your card number. Payment is handled by Shopify Payments, which processes that data under its own privacy policy.

When you write to us. Your email address and whatever you include in your message, used to answer you and keep a record of the exchange. Basis: performance of the contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

When you join our mailing list. Your email address, used to send news about the brand and our products. Every message contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us to be removed. Basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

When you browse the site. Technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you move through the site. Used to keep the site working and secure, and to prevent fraudulent orders. Basis: our legitimate interest in the security and functioning of the site. Anything beyond that — analytics and advertising — only with your consent.

Invoices and accounting records. Kept because tax and commercial law requires it. Basis: legal obligation.

We do not create customer accounts, and we do not ask for or store passwords.

Where the data comes from

Directly from you, when you order, subscribe or write to us. Automatically from your device when you use the site, including through cookies. And from the providers listed below, when they process data on our behalf.

Who else sees your data

We share data only with providers who need it to run the shop:

  • Shopify, which hosts the store and processes orders
  • Shopify Payments, which processes payments
  • Correos, which delivers your order
  • Neo Mail, which provides our email

Each acts as a processor under contract with us, or as an independent controller where the law treats it that way.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, in response to valid legal process, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business.

We do not sell your data.

Our relationship with Shopify

The store runs on Shopify, which processes data about your use of the site in order to provide and improve the platform. Data you submit is transmitted to Shopify and may be handled by parties outside your country of residence.

Shopify also uses data from interactions across its merchants to operate certain platform features. For that processing Shopify is the controller, not us, and requests about it should go to Shopify directly. Its consumer privacy policy and privacy portal explain how, at privacy.shopify.com.

International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA, the transfer is covered either by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Orders, invoices and accounting records: six years from the end of the relevant financial year, as commercial law requires
  • Correspondence: 3 years from the last message
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe
  • Technical and analytics data: 14 months

After these periods data is deleted, or kept only in a form that no longer identifies you.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work — keeping your basket, completing checkout, and security. These require no consent.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though checkout may not work correctly without the necessary ones.

Marketing

We send promotional email only to people who have asked for it. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any message. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional emails about orders you have placed.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

  • give you access to the data we hold about you
  • correct it if it is inaccurate
  • delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • send it to you or to another provider in a portable format
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave, without affecting processing carried out before

Write to info@mutaborlab.com. We respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and some rights do not apply in every circumstance — we will tell you if that is the case and why.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), or to the authority where you live.

Children

The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our pages may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we suggest you read their policies before providing them with any data.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and access is limited to what is needed to run the shop. No system is completely secure, and data sent over the internet is never entirely without risk, so please do not send us confidential information through insecure channels.

Changes

We may update this statement to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revised version is posted here and the date at the top is updated.
